Charles Ager is proud to be an independent footwear retailer. Generations of the Ager family have run the business - the current manager is Chris Hart whose Great Great Grandfather started the business in 1840.
Charles Ager has always and will continue to be about great customer service. Several generations of local consumers have used the Children’s fitting service when they were children and now bring their own children to the store – a real testament to the quality of customer service we strive to maintain.
Our service doesn’t stop there – we stock a wide variety of quality footwear brands, so our staff are able to give you impartial advice on the best shoes for you. Stores that stock a single brand can’t offer this level of flexibility and bespoke customer service.
